I am mom to my beautiful 11 year old son Koa! Although Koa has autism and epilepsy he is perfect to me in every way. Safety issues with his epilepsy and autism have led us to embark on the journey of acquiring a service dog for Koa. Please join us on this mission of love!

Hope For Koa

I am so excited to announce that we are OFFICIALLY starting our fundraising process for Koa’s Service Dog from Arizona Goldens!! After several months of research, many interviews with Arizona Goldens and (my favorite part!) meeting some of their precious dogs,  we have decided with Arizona Goldens that a Service Dog is the right fit for Koa and our family!  This will be such an amazing and positive step in the right direction to keep Koa safe and free from harm, as well as help to develop his independence, and to inspire his cognitive development.

Koa’s Autism Service Dog will also be trained in Seizure Alert.  For many, including us, this can mean the difference between life and death. Just less than 4 weeks ago, Tim, a client through Arizona Goldens had his life saved through his dog – twice!!  Read Tim’s story here.

Our fundraising goal is $20,000.  It is a hefty amount to visualize, but we cannot put a price on life.  My motto is a little bit of love goes a long way!

Please be sure to read “A Service Dog for Koa” on my blog Paws of Hope For Koa and share, share share!  It will mean the world to us.

God Bless!!
